ABOUT ME

I am a UI,UX and digital designer. I’ve designed over 150 websites and consulted with clients on at least 500 unique websites. Currently I am designing user interfaces for the world's largest bank.



GOOGLE DIGITAL
GARAGE

I worked with Google to design their homepage and inner
pages for their digital garage project. This project was
initiated to help people use the internet to enhance
their businesses. This project is:

  • Fully responsive, from Desktop to Tablet to Phone.
  • Driven by Google's Material Design Language.
  • AA accesability rated.
  • Presented to Google's stakeholders.


HSBC USER
INTERFACE DESIGN

For the last seven months I've been working with HSBC improving
the looks and usability of their internal systems.
  • International project requiring global travel to tackle complex UX & UI issues and designing around legacy systems.
  • Working in conjunction with multiple global agencies and directly with key stakeholders
  • Pixel perfect excecution across multiple channels



LLOYDS BANK
SUPPORT CENTRE

I was one of the design leads on the redesign of the Lloyds Bank Support Centre. In this role I was responsible for:
  • Redesigned the Lloyds bank support centre in Adobe CS.
  • Created branding presentations for Lloyds Bank.
  • Did extensive UX work making interactive pixel perfect mockups in Axure and in browser.
  • Presented designs to the key senior stakeholders from Lloyds Bank.
  • Lead a team of UX designers and researchers.


INTERACTIVE INVESTOR REDESIGN

I was asked to help out with the redesign and relaunch of the Interactive Investor rebrand and relaunch.
  • Modernise the website and make it much easier to use.
  • Working with Wolf Ollins, ensure branding consistency across
    a variety of new channels, such as iOS, Android and Web.
  • Show intense data in an easily digestable way.
  • Presented concept and direction to stakeholders from
    Intereactive Investor.


KAREN MILLEN
DIGITAL DESIGN

In my time at Karen Millen is focused on designing homepage assets, email design and CMS work.
  • Working within the existing style guide while adding my own design language, I created assets for 9 different homepages.
  • Using a combination of Photoshop, illustrator and Mailchimp, design and deploy emails to different channels.
  • Use the internal CMS to update a multi-region website.


ZAP WEBSITE REDESIGN

I was the Art Director for the redesign of Zap pest control's website.
  • This was a ground up redesign, focusing on inreasing conversions.
  • I was in charge of a team of 4 people, covering user interface and general web design, user experience, build and client relations.
  • We created a new user journey focusing on pest type to increase ease of use, which increased conversions.
  • Delivered 10% under budget and two weeks before final due date.


BLADEMASTER
WEBSITE REDESIGN

I was Art Director on this project. We had completely free reign on the redesign of this website.
  • I lead this project along with a conversion expert.
  • Working closely with the client, we developed a new website
    that put focus on 4 main selling areas.
  • Three months after launch, conversions went up by 22%
  • Working closelu with developers, we enhanced the website
    with subtle HMTL5 interactions and CSS transitions.


MONEYWISE
FULL REDESIGN

As the art director, I was involved in a full redesign of the moneywise website. I was also in charge of visualising complex data(400,000 points through an API) in an easily digestable way
  • New design had to work with a database of over 40000 existing articles in a joomla backend.
  • Had to work in IE8 but also be a contemporary design
  • The fund comparison tool is a class-leading way to find the right funds for the user. This had to be extremely simple to use so users would not be intimidated.


EMARSYS DIGITAL DESIGN

I helped out Emarsys with some problem areas on their website needing UI work. I also helped with digital design.
  • Lead UX on their internal resources section. This had to be easy to navigate, while also pulling 6 different media types.
  • Use CSS3 techniques like lazy loading and transitions to reduce browser load.
  • Traditional digital design through multiple social media channels
  • Conversion orientated landing page designs.


Hi, I'm Todd.

I've been designing websites since I was old enough to aquire Photoshop 7. I taught myself HTML & CSS in High School and naturally I fell into digital design from there. I'm currently based in Berlin and I'm looking for work. Take a look at my resume if you're interested. As well as design, I love:
